Groups & Programs

Project My Turn

People feel best when they choose their own way to live life.

The team at Legacy Lifestyle Supports promotes self-advocacy and active contribution to decision making every day in all the services we provide.

To compliment this and ensure each person is also supported to develop their skills toward creating their own life, we offer a variety of groups and programs that tap into your interests and are designed to help you

Come and learn a new skill and make new friends.

Project Me

Project Me is an interactive participant lead group program that starts with focusing on each individual person before the group.

The program runs twice weekly in Morphett Vale, offering an inclusive support environment to engage in socialising and skills development.

Whilst many adults living with a disability would be familiar with the old ‘Day Options’, our Project Me group members are actively engaged to co-design each 10 week program to suit their own goals and interests.

Some of the activies previously planned with our groups have included:

  • kitchen days learning to cook or cooking for charity
  • community tours to visit local gardens & group services
  • games days simply enjoying each others company
  • outings to go swimming, bowling & share a meal

Design your own program!

D&D

Dungeons & Dragons is well recognised game that brings creative minds together as they adventure, battle and explore worlds born from the players collective imaginations!

Our established D&D groups meets weekly and will often run special one day campaigns during school holidays.

Each group is run by a Dungeon Master and supported by one our support workers to ensure everyone is able to engage and enjoy the experience.

Adventure, battle and explore!

Building Me

An arts and construction based group that aims to help young people understand themselves and develop skills to take on the challenges of social life.

Facilitated by a counsellor, we run two weekly groups for 7-12 year olds and 12-17 year olds.

Express your true self through hands-on art and construction.

My Crew

An adult social group that is facilitated by uniquely skilled mentors to encourage self-advocacy and independence in planning and enjoying life as an adult.

The group starts by meeting monthly at our Morphett Vale office, but where they plan to visit and the activities they plan to engage in our up to them!

Activity costs are each member’s responsibility, however we do fundraise to minimise these expenses.

The support provided for members to participate actively in the group can be billed to NDIS at appropriate group rates based on group numbers.
We welcome support people or companions, but do ask that appropriate clearances are provided prior to the first session.

Join a group of like minded adults to try new things, make social connections and live your best life!
